Church bay
Remember to check tidal times and pack your wellies. Another beautiful sandy untouched bay and to the left a fabulous rocky formation with wonderful jewel like “rock pools” half covered by water exposing the rich colours surrounded by lighter dry rocks. The occasional crab and multiple insects surrounded by lace like seaweed makes the pools worlds in their own making
My photography is presented to you with limited editing just a crop and a little sharpening no colour enhancement at all. They are true representation of what exists.

Red Rocks Marsh is a 10-acre coastal reserve with sand dunes, reedbeds and marshes. Marram grass grows across the dunes, and it has become the focus of my recent work.
The grass reminds me of childhood days spent with my family among the large sandstone rocks. Before sun cream was common, we used oil and vinegar and would get so hot that we smelled like a “chippie”.
I love the contrast between the sharp grass and the soft sand. Strong winds shape the sand and bend the grass, making it seem as though movement has been paused. In my black-and-white photographs, the grass creates lines and marks that look like drawings

Eighty acres of formal gardens and woodland offer panoramic views across the mountains. Home to National Collections and Champion Trees, the garden is a place where trees, meadowland, water and stone come together to create a landscape that changes with the seasons and the light.
This collection of photographs explores some of the garden’s most powerful and visually striking spaces: beautiful trees rising from the meadow, the sweeping limb of an ancient tree reaching across the horizon, distant views framed by avenues of tall pines, and a stream of sculpted rocks watched over by established rhododendrons.
